We encourage people to dress up for our convention, and the following policy is designed to ensure that as a family friendly convention expectations are met, to ensure everyone has an awesome time. If you have any questions about your costume, and want to make sure you meet are simple rules you can message us on our contact page an image of your costume.
First and most simple of rules is to dress as if you would be dressing up for a cosplay event at your local High School. Some basic guidelines are things such as.
1: Ensure your bathing suit parts are covered. Including the "cheeks"
2: Body paint is not a substitute for #1 above.
3: Men if wearing spandex / body suit please wear a sports cup with it.
4: Please no racist or inflamatory body wear.
5: No political or social statements. WizardCon is not a place for that.
We reserve the Right to ask you to change and or leave if you are in violation. We know also sometimes you may not realize you are breaking one of the rules, and will always treat ya with respect. Basically when dressing up, ask yourself is this okay for kids to see. WizardCon is a family friendly event, so we ask you to just dress with that in mind.
This is a tabletop game convention, with Role Playing Games, Board games, card games, demos, vendors selling all manner of cool gaming goods.
We also are having contests, raffles and an awesome movie prop showcase, displaying props from Star Wars, Aliens, Star Trek and more.
