Everyone comes to an event like this to have fun. We encourage everyone to have a blast,
and expect some basic rules to be followed. All attendees must dress for the event in a
manner that is suitable for young children to view. If you are dressing in character, or
for cosplay your costume must meet these basic requirements.
WizardCon actively operates under the belief that everyone deserves a full convention
experience free of harassment. This applies to all attendees, regardless of race,
ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity/expression, religious
affiliation, disability, physical appearance, body size, or other identifying factor.

Harassment, whether from attendees, WizardCon staff, exhibitors, guests, hotel staff,
or any others associated with the convention, will not be tolerated in any form.

                What Constitutes Harassment at WizardCon?

for any gluten or other food allergies. YOU MUST NOTIFY THE HOTEL OF ANY FOOD ALLERGIES

                Costume Policy
Costumes are allowed and encourages at WizardCon/ Here are a few items to consider when preparing your costume for cosplaying at WizardCon.
The WizardCon show is a family-friendly event, so keep your costume PG-13 or cleaner. In other words, nothing overtly violent or sexual
			    in orientation will be allowed.

                Soliciting Policy
The only people allowed to sell anything at WizardCon would be vendors who have a booth in the
vendors areas. People who have collections they wish to liquidate may sell those to vendors at the
event but not to individual patrons. No one may solicit for business, gambling, or for other events
unless you get the express written permission of WizardCon staff. Any person distributing literature
of any kind through any distribution method without permission will be removed from the event and their
badge revoked without a refund. There will be a free literature table that will be available for all
patrons to place items about their business venture or event. All materials must be PG in appearance
and nature as well as not promote any kind of political, religious, or social agenda. Any items that
do not fit these policies will be removed from the free literature table and disposed.
                Stealing
Anyone caught stealing games, cards or other individuals belongings will have the police
called on them, and will be barred from the convention. The gaming and vendor areas are
heavily video taped, and venue staff have all cameras operating on site. If someone
accuses you of stealing, or if you feel you have been stolen from, immediately involve
event staff, so we may take the proper steps.
                Gambling
There is NO gambling at all allowed on games at WizardCon in the gaming room, vendor rooms,
open areas, nooks or private convention game rooms. However, what you do in your private hotel
                room is your own business.
                Firearm Policy
Firearms are prohibited, this includes those who have a CPL or carry permit. We believe
that this is an event that has no use for live firearms, this includes firearms that are
not loaded. If you are caught with one you will be asked to leave the event. This is not
a political stance, this is simply a policy to ensure the protection of all.
Open carry is also prohibited and falls under the same rules as above.

                Prop / Cosplay Weapons
If you have a FAKE firearm as part of your costume event staff will require it by Michigan law
to have an orange tip, and event staff will check and verify that it is a prop / airsoft / fake
weapon. If you do not have an orange tip event staff will have on hand orange tape, and they will
place it on the tip of the fake firearm. If you do not want us to do that, you will be asked to take
the fake weapon back to our car. You must leave the orange tip on your fake weapon at all times while
at the convention. If you are bringing an airsoft weapon into the convention, you may not have any bb's
in it or Magazine or battery. Being caught with an airsoft weapon with a battery in it will be treated
as a real firearm and you will be asked to leave with no refund. Swords must be peace tied, and dull
edged. Other prop swords, maces and such are welcome.
